SIMPLE PAST (pasado simple)
En el pasado simple solo se utilizan los verbos en tiempo pasado
I went to Mexico city yo fui a la ciudad de México
She cleaned her bedroom ella limpio su cuarto
It ate bones comío huesos
FORMA NEGATIVA
I went not to Mexico city yo no fui a la ciudad de México
She cleaned not her bedroom ella no limpio su cuarto
It ate not bones no comio huesos
FORMA INTERROGATIVA
Went I to Mexico city? ¿fui yo a la ciudad de México?
Cleaned she her bedroom? ¿limpio ella su cuarto?
Ate it bones? ¿comio huesos?

Past continuous ( pasado continuo)
Para formar el pasado continuo se utiliza el pasado del verbo “to be”(was, were)
We were listening to instrumental music
She was cutting the grass
You were painting the garage
NOTA: en esta forma se utiliza “was” y “were” que son el pasado del verbo “to be”, donde was se utiliza para las terceras personasjugando?
