Adverbios En Ingles Uso

Utilizamos estos adverbios cuando queremos expresar la manera en que se realiza una acción. En general se forman agregando "ly" al final del adjetivo.

La mayoría terminan en 'ly' que equivale a la terminación 'mente' n castellano. Generalmente derivan de adjetivos

slow (slóu) - lento slowly (slóuli) - lentamente

easy (iisi) - fácil easily (íisili) - fácilmente

careful (kérful) - cuidadoso carefully (kérfuli) - cuidadosamente

simple (símpl) - simple simply (símpli) - simplemente

happy (jápi) - feliz happily (jápili) - felizmente

natural (náchural) - natural naturally (náchurali) - naturalmente

También hay excepciones a esta regla:

Los adverbios de lugar nos permiten indicar dónde se realiza una acción: here, there, above, everywhere, away.

near (níar) -cerca

far (fár) - lejos

away (euéi) – lejos

carelessly (kéerlesli) - descuidadamente

successfully (saksésfuli) - exitosamente

actually (áktchuali) - en realidad, de hecho

reluctantly (riláktantli) - de mala gana

intentionally (inténshonali) - intencionalmente

accidentaly (aksidéntali) – accidentalmente

home (jóum) - a/en casa

abroad (abród) - al/en el extranjero

overseas (óuver-síis) - al/en el extranjero

in (in) - adentro

out (áut) - afuera

inside (ínsáid) -adentro

outside (áutsáid) – afueraindoors (índóors) - adentro, bajo techo

outdoors (áutdóors) - al aire libre

above (abáv) - arriba, encima

below (bilóu) - abajo, debajo

underneath (anderníiz) - debajo, abajo, por debajo

beneath (biníz) - debajo, abajo, por debajo

everywhere (évriuér) - en/a todas partes

nowhere (nóuér) - en/a ninguna parte

somewhere (sámuér) - en algún lugar

anywhere (éniuér) - en cualquier/ningún lugar

elsewhere (élsuér) – en otra parte

Cuando queremos expresar en qué momento se realiza una acción, utilizamos los adverbios de tiempo: now, early, late, soon, already, tomorrow

early (érli) - temprano

late (léit) - tarde

earlier (érlier) - antes, más temprano

later (léiter) - luego, más tarde

then (den) - luego, entonces

before (bifór) - antes

after (áfter) - después

afterwards (áfteruárds) – luego

now (náu) - ahora

nowadays (náuedéis) - hoydía

these days (díis déis) - en estos días

currently (kérrently) - actualmente

at present (at présent) - en el presente

ever (éver) - alguna vez

soon (sún) - pronto

again (eguén) - de nuevo, otra vez

long ago (lóng agóu) - hace mucho tiempo

Son aquellos que indican cuánto tiempo dura una acción determinada y responden a las preguntas de tipo "for how long?": all day, for a while.

all week (ól wíik) - toda la semana

the whole morning (de jóul móorning) - la mañana entera
