Abortion isn’t the solution
Today there are many controversial issues which can be discussed. One very important controversial issue for as long as can remember is abortion. An abortion is the termination of a pregnancy by the removal or expulsion of an embryo or fetus from the uterus, resulting in or caused by its death. An abortion can occur spontaneously due to complications during pregnancy or can be induced. Obviously, in this essay will focus on induced abortion. “In 2011, 1.06 million abortions were performed, down 13% from 1.21 million in 2008. From 1973 through 2011, nearly 53 million legal abortions occurred” “A broad cross section of U.S. women have abortions are in their 20s, have one or more children, are unmarried and not cohabiting and are economically disadvantaged.”Jones RK and German J, Abortion incidence and service availability in the United States, 2011, Perspectives on Sexual and Reproductive Health, 2014. http://www.guttmacher.org/pubs/fb_induced_abortion.html. Abortion is a cruel act which ends in the death of a human being, according to society, science and religion and can be avoided by considering adoption.
Society is against abortion. They say the child once the embryo is already alive. They say that people who perform abortion are murderers and compare abortion to shot a young child. Can a neighbor kill another neighbor because he or she makes a lot of noise? Obviously, not. The same principle applies to abortion. The woman who decides to abort will be deciding over another person’s body. Society also states that abortion should not be use birth control method. There is a wide variety of birth control method and considering abortion one of them make it seems like it was innocuous process and would promote an irresponsible reproduction.
A question we need to do is, do you consider that a syphilitic lady with an alcoholic husband and that just died, who has a small children and is pregnant should abort? The answer, according to science, should be no. If you say yes, you have killed Beethoven. Scientist such as doctors are against abortion because it may present physical risk to the mother such as: abdominal pain and cramping, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, bleeding, infections and even death. It also may cause psychological problems such as: complained of nervous disorders, had experienced sleep disturbances and had regrets about their decision. After seeing all the physiological and psychological problems that a mother may face when resort to abort a child makes you wonder that an abortion instead of being a solution it cause more serious problems.
A branch also claims to be against abortion is religion, specifically, Christianity. As Christians we believe that God gave us life, and therefore, it is him who should only be able to take it. Besides having a child or at least have that chance is a miracle of God, and he is the one who gave you that opportunity
