Un crimen horrendo Baniszewski

Sylvia Likens was an American murder victim. She was tortured to death by Gertrude Baniszewski, Baniszewski's children, and other young people from their neighborhood. Baniszewski, her daughter Paula, her son John, Stephanie and two neighbors (Coy Hubbard and Richard Hobbs) were charged of the crime. Likens' torture and murder was described as "the most terrible crime ever committed in the state of Indiana".

Jennifer and Sylvia Likens were left by 20$ a week to the care of a housewife called Gertrude Baniszewski, an asthmatic lady with six children.
