Elizabeth M. Gilbert is an American author, essayist, short story writer, biographer, novelist and memoirist. The author of 'Eat, Pray, Love,' Elizabeth Gilbert has thought long and hard about some big topics. Her fascinations: genius, creativity and how we get in our own way when it comes to both.

Elizabeth Gilbert faced down a premidlife crisis by doing what we all secretly dream of -- running off for a year. Her travels through Italy, India and Indonesia resulted in the megabestselling and deeply beloved memoir Eat, Pray, Love, about her process of finding herself by leaving home.

The novel it is about a woman on a quest to marvel at and travel the world while rediscovering and reconnecting with her true inner self in Eat Pray Love. At a crossroads after a divorce, Gilbert takes a year-long sabbatical from her job and steps uncharacteristically out of her comfort zone, risking everything to change her life. In her wondrous and exotic travels, she experiences the simple pleasure of nourishment by eating in Italy; the power of prayer in India, and, finally and unexpectedly, the inner peace and balance of love in Bali. Based on an inspiring true story, Eat Pray Love proves that there really is more than one way to let yourself go and see the world.

Is a narrative novel , because the protagonist she describes his desires, longings, frustrations, successes, disappointments, loves and dislikes. The novel of self-help, it is a reflection on the love in his different forms.

It is a very interesting book, the passion of the protagonist sits down for leaving everything to do what actually she likes, I learned many good things of this book, and the most important thing teaches us the culture of other countries and explains his gastronomy to us, all the delicious food of every country.

I want to recomed to my parents, because I what the they feel the same love for travel, eat and love.

It is a book that it invites you to think about the love, incites you to travel, to know the world, realize that it exists different types of persons, show restraint languages. the more important to leave behind what hinders us and to fulfill our dreams.
