Reglas para el uso de mayúsculas en inglés

1.- La primera letra en una oración debe ser escrita con mayúscula. Esta regla también se usa en español. Por ejemplo:

The first word of a sentence should be capitalized.(La primera palabra de una oración debe llevar mayúscula.)

2.- El pronombre “yo” en inglés siempre va con mayúscula. Ejemplo:

Rose and I went to the park. (Rosa y yo fuimos al parque.)

3.- Las palabras más importantes de un título llevan mayúscula. Ejemplo:

“Gone with the Wind” is a book. (“Lo que el viento se llevó” es un libro.)

4.- Los nombres propios siempre llevan mayúscula al igual que en español. Por ejemplo:

Margaret Mitchell is the author of a book. (Margaret Mitchell es la autora de un libro.)

5.- Todas las nacionalidades se escriben con mayúscula. Fíjate en los siguientes ejemplos:

Spanish (español)

Mexican (mexicano)

Chinese (chino)

French (francés)

6.- Los idiomas también se escriben con mayúscula.

English (inglés)

Spanish (español)

French (francés)

Veamos unos ejemplos:

I am from Mexico that is why I am Mexican and I speak Spanish.(Soy de México, por eso soy Mexicano y hablo español.)

I am from Spain and I speak Spanish. (Soy de España y hablo español.)

7.- Todos los meses del año se escriben con mayúscula a diferencia del español.

8.- Los días de la semana también se escriben con mayúscula.

. 4 - Proper names are capitalized as long as in Spanish . For example :
