We live in a world where there are many cases of violence, in a society where the values are deteriorated each day, many students around all the world are being affected by a phenomenon or behavior that, according to the statistics "Bullying Statistics." *Bullying Stops With Me Program at FJHS. How to identify this behavior? And finally, and very important, how to prevent it?

The word bullying comes from the term "bull" and was first used by the Sweden psychologist Dan Olweus (Olweus bullying prevention program, 2003); who “has been involved in research and intervention work in the area of bully/victim problems among school children and youth”. The bullying or harassment is defined as the physical, verbal and psychological aggression between students, where one or more abuse of a weaker one, using the force, damaging the reputation of a student or just decimate with bad words. This behavior can become habitual, and use the force and coercion to intimidate other students; as (Olweus, 1994) states in his book “Bullying at School: Basic Facts and Effects of a School Based Intervention Program” Bullying among students is a phenomenon that has happened since a long time ago, and consists in the fact that some children are frequently abused and attacked by other children.

There are many investigations that seek to define what causes a child to become bully, although there are many factors that can interfere in this definition, It is said that the need to dominate others is the main cause, being the center of attention within a community, as well as the excess of impulsivity, bad education that children can receive from their homes, surrounded by family problems, and situations which, unconsciously affect their behavior, and can even that they themselves have been affected by bullying in the past or in their houses, is also attributed to jealousy or envy, that another child is more pretty, more intelligent, or perhaps it is most likely to have things that the attacker does not.

According to (U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, 2012) Bullying can occur during or after school hours. While most reported bullying happens in the school building, a significant percentage also happens in places like on the playground or the bus. It can also happen travelling to or from school, in the youth’s neighborhood, or on the Internet.
