RESUMEN

Sin lugar a dudas, el tener una buena capacidad lectora es la mejor base para emprender el proceso de aprendizaje.

La lectura que se realiza con el objetivo de aprender, no es igual que la lectura que hacemos cuando queremos informarnos o simplemente entretenernos. Cuando leemos para aprender, la situación es distinta, pues tenemos necesariamente que comprender todo lo que se nos presenta en el texto, utilizando técnicas que nos ayuden a leer más rápido .El hecho de que un estudiante lea a gran velocidad no asegura que esté comprendiendo lo que lee. Por ello, también es importante que adquiera técnicas que le ayuden a rescatar las ideas principales contenidas en el texto.
