Rufino Tamayo

I liked this project because it made me interested about painting and about some of the most famous artists of all time. I don't think that art affects society, I think that society affects art because art is a reflection of what people think and their ideas transformed into a painting, a sculpture, or maybe even into music.

I think that this project could be useful for me because it teacher me some general knowledge about art and I could use that some day in my life.

I think that the area of interaction that I worked with was environments, because I learned about artists from all around the world, but I particularly chose one from Mexico, Rufino Tamayo.

Also I think that the IB profile attributes that I developed the most were: inquirers, because I did some research about the artist that I chose, communicators, because I had to communicate the ideas that i learned through a Power Point presentation, and this was also a little challenging because we could also use images and no text, and maybe even open minded because I learned about paintings and artists from every culture from all around the world.

As always, I tried to do my best in this project, but if I had to do it again, I would probably do it about some other artists and add more information to the presentation.
