PARQUE NACIONAL DEL CHICAMOCHA
Es uno de los pocos parques naturales de Colombia dedicados al ecoturismo, siendo por tanto uno de los sitios turísticos más importantes del país. Fue abierto al público el sábado dos de diciembre del dos mil seis. Esta ubicado en el Cañón del mismo nombre, el cual posee una oferta para el turismo de aventura, histórico, ecológico y religioso. Cuenta con el teleférico más largo de Latinoamérica, sus seis coma tres Kilómetros atraviesan toda la majestuosidad del cañón del Chicamocha, conectando el municipio de Aratoca con el municipio de los Santos. Con capacidad para cuatro mil personas.
Dentro del Parque podrá encontrar actividades como el Cable vuelo, Los Buggys, el columpio extremo, la pista de patinaje, la chiva, el parque de las avestruces, parapente, el Mirador trescientos sesenta grados 360º, el nuevo acuaparque y una gran variedad de gastronomía típica y artesanías de la región santandereana. Durante el recorrido por el parque podrá encontrar las diferentes plazas que enmarcan la cultura y el sabor de Santander.
CHICAMOCHA NATIONAL PARK
It is one of the few natural parks in Colombia dedicated to ecotourism, being therefore one of the most important tourist sites in the country. It was open to the public on Saturday, December tow, of the year two thousand six. It is located in the Canyon of the same name, which has an offer for adventure, historical, ecological and religious tourism. It has the longest cable car in Latin America, its six point three kilometers cross all the majesty of the Chicamocha canyon, connecting the municipality of Aratoca with the municipality of Los Santos. With capacity for four thousand people.
Within the Park you can find activities such as the Cable Flight, The Buggys, the extreme swing, the skating rink, the goat, the ostrich park, paragliding, the three hundred and sixty degree viewpoint, the new aquapark and a great variety of cuisine typical and handicrafts of the santandereana region. During the tour of the park you can find the different squares that frame the culture and taste of Santander.
