Blue Ocean Strategy And Porter's Five Forces
As we know the book Blue Ocean Strategy bases its concepts on innovation and new markets not in competition against those who are also trying to capture consumers and end users.
Porter five forces rely on the constant competition and being clear while a porter forces is based on the rivalry between existing competitors in the market blue ocean strategy is based on creating markets where there are no competitors; the two theories have in common are always looking for added value in their products but the difference this in a brief example as illustrated by the book; circuses are always in a red ocean that is in relation to Porter's five forces are struggling to attract the attention of your target market is children generating extra tricks tricks in other circuses or have been seen as such are part of the fight this change in market applications in the blue ocean of new market strategies are generated such as Cirque du Soleil where changing your target market would lead them to change their approach and get into a blue ocean where competitors do not have and which has other niche markets.
Study the competition show you how you can win as porter and so most companies are guided, always looking into a blue ocean once is this there will have understood that the company will be in a time gain where there will that incurred market and optimization of resources.
Therefore I recommend to companies that intend to come and fall within the scope of the blue ocean where found as a benefit differentiation in the market and avoid competition and loyal customers, avoid being exclusive and effort and avoid wear skills crisis creating demand with good ideas,
The Blue Ocean is reached with the sails by imagination. There is no suffering or struggle but enjoyed and growing rapidly. To reach navigation plan separates the important from the urgent and strategic planning includes improvisation.
