Monday

7th

October

First :

T will introducepresent tense. She will explain how and when we use it. After T will show a presentation with the rules to use on simple present.

Then T will

T will write some sentences as examples on the white board.

I walk to School everyday.

They play football on Sunday.

He eats apples and bananas.

T will give to Ss an activity page; S willchoose the correct form to complement the sentence.

Then T will present the vocabulary for this week “clothes” using flashcard. T will name each item for Ss to hear pronuntation, and ask them top repeat. After a few times Ss will work an activity page, matching clothing names with their pictures, Ss will draw pants, shoes, dress Etc. what they’re wearing.

Ss will be able to identify and use simple present.

10 different sentences using present simple affirmative and practice vocabulary “clothes”

 White-board

 Markers

 Power point presentation

 Activity Page.

 Various articles of clothing,

 a class set of worksheets for matching numbered clothing pictures with clothing vocabulary

 clothing store catalogs to cut up, markers, scissors, & each group of students.

Tuesday

8th

October

First;

T will present on the whiteboard sentences in positive present and negative present for the Ss to compare them. Then T will make them some questions to help them to come up with the pattern.T will write the following on the blackboard:

• I like pets ______ I don't like pets

• You want chocolate____ You don't want chocolate

• He hateS swimming__ He doesn't hate swimming

Ss will have to fill in the gaps using the correct form of the negative auxiliary.

After many different examples, Ss will have to compose present sentences; either negatives or positive following the instructions on the activity page.

Finally working in pairs, Ss will say to their partners 3 things that they like and 3 things that they don’t like; the other pair will have to write his/her partner’s sentences and check them.

Then T and Ss will reinforce the vocabulary of the week “Clothes” by playing a finger play. First T will choose a volunteer to come to the front of the class. T will draw a pair of trousers onto their back using your finger. Ss will draw onto the board what they think T drew on their back.

Then T will distribute some flashcards to the Ss and in pairs they have to secretly pick a card and draw what they see onto their partners back. The partner has to draw onto a piece of paper what they think their partner drew on their back. After few minutes or as soon the first pair has finished T will start asking at Ss to come to the board and draw the items of clothing and named.

Ss will be able to identify and use simple present on negative form.
