So there I was laying down on this bed, the last thing I remember was this huge explosion while me and my team were heading towards the city I don’t actually feel any pain or something like that, which is my greatest fear losing a limb but as soon as I checked my body it was complete, everything was fine I felt a little dizzy and I was hearing voices, but no one was in my room, except for Katie which was a really good friend of mine since I joined the U.S Army and also one of the nurses of the medical team, she was at the side of my bed, and she was really worried about me, but this voices I was still hearing them right next to my cheek, I could feel the breathing of the person talking to me, but I just didn’t care about it, so I got up from the medic room’s bed and walked with Katie which I knew since I entered the army she said – Oh thank god Jeffrey you’re a really lucky guy , I asked her what had happened and she told me – Jeffrey your convoy and your team were attacked by the Iraqi Army only you and Genaro survived, you guys are lucky but you were the luckiest Genaro is still in coma, with this I felt guilty and destroyed for the loss of my team, they were under my command and now all of

them are dead except Acosta, I really hope he gets better I don’t want to give the bad news to his mother they’ve had really bad times since they arrived to the United States.

He was a great friend of mine, but I had this big problem my brother was still out there. My team’s mission was to save my brother’s team who was trapped in a building in the middle of the city, in order to save him I needed permission to keep fighting and for joining a team that was assigned with the same mission, so I went to the sergeant’s office, as soon as I entered he knew what I wanted, he was scared, that was really strange of him because he’s a really cold guy, he ordered me to join Lawton’s team which was assigned to accomplish the same job as I was supposed to do, I didn’t care about it, all I wanted was to save my brother, I couldn’t stand seeing my mother crying for my little brother, neither watching his fiancée crying as well.

I met up with Mark Lawton to report myself for duty. I am a great friend of him since he was in my team when he joined, he hugged me and showed his sadness for the loss of our friends, he promised me –Braun I swear that we’re going to find your brother man, me and my team are counting on you the same way you’re counting on us dude, I stretched his hand and got into the Hummer as soon as I sat down, I felt this hands touching my head and I heard this voices that was a little familiar, but I couldn’t recognize it, it was a woman’s voice telling me to fight to be strong, but at the same time I was feeling something running through my veins like a little infusion, and a kiss on my forehead, it was obvious non of my new teammates have done it so I didn’t care about it so I thought it was because of the attack I had before so I just shut my mouth, Sanford, Dent and Long were my new teammates and also the captain of the team, Mark.

The five of us where on the outskirts of the city waiting for orders to get into the battlefield. The order was authorized and we moved towards this lonely but treacherous city that has taken so many souls with it, Mark who was sitting next to Sanford, who was the official driver
