Disadvantages That Women Face In The Society

Women have faced a lot of problems through this time because of their gender and man’s authority; they don’t have the same rights as men but still fighting for their respect and equality in the actual society, they are more positive and strong because of their role.

Some time ago, women were “property” of men and they needed them to live in a good way; they could only work in the house, they couldn’t study, they couldn't participate in the public life and other things. The time has passed and women have won a lot of space in the social, political and cultural area; they can do a lot of things and they can be the person that they want to be, for example: the presidents of Chile, Argentina and Brazil; these women are very important in the country that they ruled. But there are women that still being abused and discriminated for many reasons, especially in the old countries like Syria, Saudi Arabia and others; they have to obey their husbands, they can’t go out alone, etc. This situation causes displeasure in the majority of people because they think that women should have the same rights like men as the time has changed.

As a conclusion, women in the actual society are an example of improvement. We can do the same things that men do and can do it better, we can study, we can work and we have rights. Women can be women in this world and have the role that they want.
