Here in Paraguay the Marihuana is illegal due of the damage that it causes to the brain. The marihuana is a hallucinogenic drug and it affects the perception. Its scientific name is Cannabis Sativa. It produces a sensation of general relaxation and distortion the sense of time. It is considered a drug because after a certain period of time the person that consumes gets addicted and the body needs it. Some of the effects on humans of the marihuana are decrease of the intellectual functioning and decrease of the capacity to drive, and that is why it is prohibit here in Paraguay. It showed that other innocents people can get badly harm by someone that is under its effect.

I think that it is an important fact that has to be seriously considered by our authorities because we have in our hands the power to save people that may have no other choice. Alcohol produces the same effects as marihuana, it takes from you the ability to drive well and even talk. If it is as dangerous as marihuana, then why is alcohol legal? Why we keep drinking it as it is nothing? So if it is nothing, let’s make weed legal in every state of our country. What would be the problem? It is the same as alcohol isn’t it? So let’s make it legal. Alcohol has caused more dead than marihuana so why shouldn’t we make it legal? Let’s complete our good job and let’s make it legal.
