EBOLA
The Ebola is a hemorrhagic fever, meaning that victims may bleed inside the body or externally, this terminal illness was discovered in Congo on 1970 (approximately). The disease cause vomiting and diarrhea, impairs kidney and liver function and may cause internal and external bleeding. It can be overrided close contact with the blood, body fluids and tissues of infected people.
According to Chicago Tribune Ebola affects Sierra Leone, Liberia and Guinea with 44 news cases and 21 deaths between July 6-8 (said the World Health Organization), this is a high and a terrible number.
Just one new confirmed case had been reported in Guinea, where the WHO (World Health Organization) said it was closely monitoring the situation. Another important thing is that there has been resistance among some communities to measures to control the outbreak, such as precautions during traditional burial ceremonies, because the virus could be spread.
The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) create an Ebola solidarity fund at a summit in the capital of Ghana in a bid to back a regional approach to the epidemic. Nigeria committed $3.5 million to affected states.
Ghanaian President, John Mahama, who is chairman of ECOWAS said “We must do everything within our means and power to defeat this deadly disease. We must exercise vigilance and caution and avoid any panic or misinformation”.
Claudia Garcia says, “Is a virus deadly. The 61% of the deaths occurred since February to July. Is a high number”
Juliana Salas says, “I think that is important that the ECOWAS set up an Ebola solidarity fund at a summit in the capital of Ghana, because it would help a lot of people”.
Kathy Torres says, “Is worrying that the Ebola can be spread with the contact of the blood, body fluids and tissues. It is terrible”
Is very important create a cure to prevent terrible deaths, so if we create a cure, many people will live, like a treatment or vaccine. Clean all the objects who touch a infected person, (If we clean the objects who touch an infected person, the illness will be controlled).
We have to prevent the Ebola avoiding have a contact with the blood or body fluids, and finally and the most important is find a cure to this disease. As soon as possible.
