What it is Ebola?.. This is a virus is an ultramicroscopic organism that can replicate with a cell of another host organism. It’s a member of the filoviradae´s family, they consists of core nucleic acid, either DNA or RNA, surrounded by a laying of proteins and sometimes a lipid layer. The Ebola was described by the first time in the year of 1976, in that year was presented cases of that hemorrhagic fever was in Zaire. That name came from the river Ebola, which is in the zone of Zaire.
This virus attacks human beings and some animals. The last time, that was registered, were in Guinea Conakry, where the numbers of affected was over 1000 persons. This virus is difficult to contain due to its propagation speed, about that the Ebola kills up to 90% of the people who are infected.
The Ebola isn’t contagious as like colds, influenza or measles. It spreads to people by contact with the skin or fluids from the body of an infected animal or fruit. Then starts the chain to contagious people. Also the person who takes care about an infected person often gets it. Another way to get infected is by touching contaminated needles or surfaces. But you can´t get it from air, water, or food.
The symptoms are fever (greater than 38° C), several headache, muscle pain, weakness, diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal (stomach) pain and lack of appetite. This may appear from 2 to 21 days after exposure. The most common is like 8or 10 days. The doctor doesn’t understand why, the 10% can be recovered.
To conclude you need to test your blood and issues, because in that way you can diagnose Ebola. So you need to take care, the Scientifics are searching the cure of this virus, but they didn’t found it, only a vaccine that may prevent the infection, or at least the hemorrhagic fever.
