Goku es el protagonista principal de Dragon Ball creado por Akira Toriyama. Es un defensor de la Tierra y lidera a los Guerreros Z .Es distraído, confiado y muy alegre.

Desde pequeño Goku fue un niño muy fuerte, en ``Dragon Ball’’, el Maestro Roshi fue el maestro de Goku, y después Goku empezó luchando en los torneos de las artes marciales donde le iba muy bien. Después se volvió más grande y luchaba cada vez mejor y casi siempre buscaba las esferas del dragon con Bulma para cumplir algún deseo, como para revivir a alguna persona que se murió. Eso si no se la podía revivir más de dos veces.

Después se vino la serie ``Dragon Ball Z`` que mostraban cuando era aún más grande y la primera aventura que tuvo fue con su hermano Raditz que había venido para destruir la tierra, pero en el intento Goku lo agarro para que Piccolo pudiera hacer un Masenko y así poder matar a Raditz, en el primer intento fallaron pero en el secundo Piccolo lo hizo más poderoso. Y entonces pudieron matar a Raditz.

Goku después se dirigió a el mundo del mas allá donde Enma Daio Sama es el jefe. Ahí entrenaría con Kaio Sama donde hubiese entrenado tanto que tuvo mucha mayor fuerza. Con la que después vencería a Napa y a Vegeta.

Después vendría la otra saga de Freezer donde al final Goku se convertiría en Super Saiyan 2.

Después de un tiempo Goku había entrenado mucho, y un joven apareció, llamado Trunks el cual venia del futuro para darle un medicamento a Goku porque en el futuro el tendría una grave enfermedad.
