Halloween Pumpkins Contest!
When I was at Primary School, I saw tidings in the local newspaper about Halloween Pumpkins Contest in my next High School. Something that really fascinated me, because I love crafts since I was very small.
In 2009, few weeks after starting my new stage in High School, I could see some posters about the contest so I didn’t doubt to start looking my pumpkin. Then, I started drawing some ideas and finally I made my proposal a few days before the contest.
Fortunatelly, I won my first Halloween Pumpkins Contest with a big Galician Granary. And I say fortunatelly, because I was a rookie at this competition and there were other very nice pumpkins.
In the next two years, I participated in the contest with two pumpkins which were a haunted church and a water mil. I think that both were very scary, so gracefully, I won at this years too! Something amazing for me! And finally, at 2012 I made a dark lighthouse wiht my friend Sara Rielo, and thanks to that, I could dismiss the contest with a new and final victory.
In conclusion, with this tenth anniversary I would like to congratulate our High School and especially, the English department responsible to organize and maintain this Contest, and I would also call all students to continue participating and enforcing the Contest many years!
Best regards, Christian García!
