EYE OF HALCON IN FOOTBALL

This technology has been used for years in the world of tennis, although it has only recently been able to break the barrier imposed on football. Its purpose is to end once and for all with the controversial goals "ghost" that in so many times have caused controversy and harmed more than one team. Unlike the sensors that are used in tennis, in football will be occupied 14 cameras seven in each arc to capture almost in real time the position of the balloon. Each shot will provide a different view of the ball generating a three-dimensional image that will show the exact point of the ball and whether or not it crossed the goal line. All this process will pass in thousandths of seconds, because immediately the referee will receive a signal on his watch that will indicate whether or not to validate the play as an annotation. Unlike what happens in tennis, where players and the public can see the determination of the "Eye of the Falcon", in football only the judge can have access to the result provided by this modern tool.

The big question that arises around the world is THE TECHNOLOGY COULD FAIL, if it were so, it would not be useful to have implemented this to football.

Esta tecnología es usada hace años en el mundo del tenis, aunque recién ahora pudo romper la barrera impuesta en el fútbol. Su finalidad es acabar de una vez por todas con los controvertidos goles "fantasma" que en tantas oportunidades han causado polémica y perjudicado a más de un equipo. A diferencia de los sensores que se usan en el tenis, en el balompié se ocuparán 14 cámaras siete en cada arco para capturar casi en tiempo real la posición del balón. Cada una de las tomas proporcionará una vista distinta de la pelota generando una imagen en tres dimensiones que mostrará el punto exacto del esférico y si éste traspasó o no la línea de gol. Todo este proceso transcurrirá en milésimas de segundos, pues inmediatamente el árbitro recibirá una señal en su reloj que le indicará si debe o no validar la jugada como anotación. A diferencia de lo que pasa en el tenis, donde jugadores y público pueden ver la determinación del "Ojo del Halcón", en el fútbol sólo el juez podrá tener acceso al resultado proporcionado por esta moderna herramienta.

La gran interrogante que surge alrededor del mundo es LA TECNOLOGIA PODRIA FALLAR, en caso de ser así, de nada serviría haber implementado esto al futbol.
