CLIMATE
• London has a temperate oceanic climate, similar to much of southern Britain.
• Paris has the typical Western European oceanic climate which is affected by the North Atlantic Current.
• Paris: Summer days are usually warm and pleasant with average temperatures hovering between 15 °C (59 °F) and25 °C (77 °F), and a fair amount of sunshine.
• London: Summers are generally warm and sometimes hot. London's summer average is 24 °C (75.2 °F).
• London: Winters are generally chilly to cold with frost usually occurring in the suburbs on average twice a week from November to March.
• Paris: In winter, sunshine is scarce; days are cold but generally above freezing with temperatures around 7 °C (45 °F).
• Paris: Snowfall is rare, but the city sometimes sees light snow or flurries with or without accumulation.
• London: Snowfall during March and April is rare but does occur every two or three years.
