Chapultepec Avenue
Guadalajara, is one of the most important cities in the country. It is located west of the National territory on the heart of Jalisco state. The city is one of the most populated urban city in the country; it has a metropolitan area formed by eight municipalities, one great big infrastructure, museums, financial centers, malls, public squares, restaurants, and tourist attraction sights. All of this, place the city as one of the most visited place nationwide and international.
If you visit Guadalajara, you should visit Chapultepec Avenue, it’s a very famous place in Guadalajara because there's many things to do. This place is very famous and is visited by young people.
There are bookstores, restaurants, bars, night clubs, canteens and shopping stores.
During the week, there are many cultural activities, such as salsa classes, drive-in, live music, concerts, etc. On Sunday mornings, the avenue is part of a trail of creativities, where people can ride on bicycles, exercise or just walk around alone or with pets.
On Wednesday June 29th 2016, we went to the Chapultepec corridor, that Laura could know this famous place. She was happy because she had heard many good comments about this cultural corridor. We arrived at 5 in the afternoon; except for Paola (she arrived a little bit later). We visited a cafe "Punta del Cielo", which was located underneath the bookstore of the Fondo de Cultura Economica. We drank coffee and we ate cake while we watched the activities that were happening in the street. Later we went to the bookstore and we bought some books of political science.
At 7 in the afternoon, we walked the strip and Laura bought a purse for her grandmother. We later on went to the bar "Porter", which we liked because there are rock bands that play live and it was close to Chapultepec Avenue. We asked to sit at a table at the center of the stage and we asked for 3 micheladas, some wings, and french fries. The night was young and we had lots of fun. We drank a couple of drinks and we sang to all lung till one in the morning.
The night was fun.
