  2. (Second) wind energy by Hitayissara Bonilla
  3. (Third) solar energy by Maria Alejandra Avendaño
  4. (Fourth) energy made of human dregs by Delkis Pacheco

1. Alternative Energy

Alternative energies are those energy sources different from traditional or classic. There is no agreed definition about what technologies is part of this concept. For some experts, alternative energy would be equivalent to sustainable energy, while others consider broader definitions as alternative energy to all energy sources that do not involve the burning of fossil fuels like coal, gas and oil.

For a few years with the advent of the third industrial revolution, the use of alternative energy becomes a necessity to the continuous increase in demand and the need to limit the emission of greenhouse gases. In any of the above definitions, alternative energy does not emit CO2 and have an unlimited capacity generation (in the case of renewables).

Alternative energy may be the energy to be used in the near future and that solve the problems of traditional energies (limited supply, pollution or dangerousness). In order that these energies are used in a massive way it is necessary that the international organizations, governments and national and international legislators promote a favorable legislation and that it does not harm his utilization.

2.  Win Energy by Hitayissara Bonilla director of the research department of Aresol renewable energy; who has over 8 years of experience in research on the use of wind energy.

Q: How do you think that this type of alternative energy can contribute to society?

3. solar energy by Maria Alejandra Avendaño director of research and development department of Green Energy; who has over 10 years of experience in alternative energy research.

Q: Are the costs for the use of solar energy can be considered as an investment? Why?
