3.1. MAIN BODY

The dairy industry is one of the most important economic sectors in both industrialized and developing countries. About 90% of the milk used in the dairy industry is discharged untreated into water bodies, affecting aquatic organisms. Based on research related to the dairy production process, it is reported that the industry generates a large amount of wastewater per day, ranging from 500 liters depending on the volume of production.

It should be noted that most of the water comes mainly from the maintenance and cleaning of the factory and its tools, equipment and process rooms, which contain traces of dairy products and chemicals. However, these wastewater treatment processes often require large amounts of energy and a significant investment in operating costs. Despite this problem, wastewater treatment can be a sustainable process if the right technology is used, becoming a source of energy and valuable resources instead of disposal.

The initiative proposes to process dairy wastewater by identifying these indigenous microorganisms to generate microbial biomass and promote their propagation for treatment purposes. In other words, the microbiota present in the region's water bodies will be used to cause their propagation and can act as a purifier of dairy wastewater. "In a first phase, we identified the influents and wastewater from the dairy industry based on physical and chemical parameters. Also, effective microorganisms for wastewater treatment have been isolated, identified and selected to generate microbial biomass and continue with the optimal process," he said. María Custodio Villanueva, Principal Investigator of the project. She also indicated that the final phase will create a prototype of the wastewater treatment system for the dairy industry, which will ensure sustainability and improve the quality of life of organized producers in the San José de Cro region, Junin province. Concepción region.

3.2. Examples And Evidence

Example 1:

Chávez A. & Gómez K. (20), in their work entitled “Treatment of wastewater from Floralp Dairy Industry in the Oxapampa Ashaninka Yanesha Biosphere Reserve - 2021”, had the main objective of solving the problem of identifying the suitable treatment to achieve optimal quality in the wastewater discharge of the company under study.

Faced with this, the main objective was formulated to determine the treatment to achieve discharge quality in residual water from the dairy industry within the Oxapampa Ashaninka Yanesha Biosphere Reserve - 2021. To achieve what was formulated, an applied type and level study was carried out. explanatory that used an experimental design and that collected information on all wastewater, from which a 10-liter sample was taken. The results obtained indicate that, with the application of the treatment, it was possible to reduce the levels of Biochemical Oxygen Demand from 170 mg/L to 90.20 mg/L, as well as the levels of suspended solids that were reduced from 132.0 mg/L to 85.1mg/L; complying, thus, with what is required by local regulations. The study was concluded indicating that by applying the aerobic biological treatment, a good quality of dumping in the residual waters of the dairy industry is significantly achieved within the Oxapampa Ashaninka Yanesha Biosphere Reserve, in the year 2021. In this way, it is emphasized that, at Through the presence of microorganisms, mainly bacteria, contaminants can be removed from the wastewater.
