The Paris conference.
. the conference took place in the palace of Versailles(short distance from paris)
. lasted 12 months
.it was made on 28 june1919
Clemenceau(france):
He want to cripple Germany to never attack again. French president wanted to diveded germany un two small state. They wanted to germany to paid for the reparations and to weaken them as much as possible.
Wilson(USA):
He was seen as a idealist becuase he want to built up a better and more peacefully world, but he laso thought that germany should be punished. Also he tought that they do no t do the treaty sp harsh because if not one day they would recover and they wuold take revenge. 14 POINTS:

- Colonies to nave their own say in the future

George(Great Britian)
He wanted to punished Germany but not so harshly. They wanted them to lose their navy and colonies because they threatened the British Empire. Also they want not to Germany take revenge and in a future to trade again.
Germans reactions to the treaty:
- 10 per of its land
- All of its overseas colonies
- 12,5 per cent of its population
- 16 per cent of its coalfields and almost half of its iron and steel industry.
The impact of the treaty on Germany:
Kapp Putsch was defeted by a general strike by Berlin workers. They paralyzed services like power and transport.
