1.- Origins of Halloween
The name Halloween is a transliteration derived from the English expression "ALL Hallows Eve", which means "Eve or Vigil of All Saints'.
What we know today as Halloween night or Halloween is celebrated more than 3000 years ago by the Celts, a warlike people who inhabited areas in Ireland, England, Scotland and France. It is precisely the October 31, the Celts celebrated the end of the year with the Samhain a pagan festival and celebrated by the Catholics on November 1. With European immigration to the United States, mainly for the Irish Catholics in 1846, came the tradition of Halloween to the American continent.
2.- Symbols of Halloween

with a black cat.
Spiders and cobwebs: Although many cultures, within the context of the nature, consider that the web represents the fabric of life, for the night of Halloween decoration represents an ideal in mysterious places.
Scarecrow: They are commonly used as a means to scare away the birds. Although its
origin is unknown, are associated with Halloween and holidays of the modern culture.
