Relations between Mexico and Brazil
Mexico and Brazil have played a central role in both the sharp increase in trade in the region, including in attracting foreign capital in terms of both physical investment and financial. Exchange rate variations and tariff preferences granted to Mexico in the US market had a similar gravity in the loss of competitiveness of Brazilian exports to that country. Trade between Mexico and Brazil generates about 10 billion dollars per year.
