INSTINCT

The film told the story of an Anthropologist that lived with the monkeys in Ruanda. He had been arrested for murdering several people. He was committed to a special prision, a mental institution. Coulder was a psychiatrist and he wanted to know more about the anthropologist and to find out why he had killed them.

Coulder visited Powell (the anthropologist) but Powell didn’ t speak at all and he was aggressive.

So Coulder visited Powell’s fam. Because he needed information about his life of Powel. He spoke with his daughter and he borrowed several photografs from him.

Coulder visited Powell several times. He risked his life because they me in a room. Where the were alone and Powell was aggressive too.

In fact one day Coulder was afraid of being murdered.

At the end Coulder found out why Powell killed several people.

Powell told him that he had dived with monkeys. He had watched them for a long time until the monkeys accepted him and then e was a part the family.

One day when he was with the monkeys suddenly shot the monkeys.

They were forest rangers and Powell killed several forest rangers because he had to protect his monkey family considering.

In prison he was aggressive again, because the security wards beat a prisoner Powell escaped from the prison because he was helped by other prisioners.

In the film I saw how the animal defended and protected their families and sometimes humans forget that we have to protect and defend our own species
