My Family And Other Animals

Characters:

Gerry Durrell: He is a boy who loves animals. He has all type of animals. Gerry has a dog called Roger. Roger is Gerry's best friend.

Gerry's Mother: She is a nice mother. She loves her offspring so she wants that they are happy. She does all for they to be comfortable.

Larry: He is the oldest brother. He wants change domicile all the time.

Leslie: He is other brother of Gerry Durrell.

Margo: She is the sister of Gerry Durrell.

Summary:

One day the Durrell family decided to leave England and moved to Corfu.

A few days later they went to the canary-yellow villa. In this villa Gerry found scorpions and put them into a matchbox. When the family was having lunch Larry unfortunately brought the matchbox with the scorpions and they ran on the table.

But when the family was happy Larry decided to leave the villa because the Great-aunt wants to stay with the Durrell family.

One day in the snow-white villa the family organised a party but it was a disaster. The dogs ran into the house and broke cushions, so whole the dinning room was full of feathers.

Finally the family left Corfu because Gerry needed to go to one school in England to finish his education.

My opinion:

I like this book, because it is easy to understand. It's amazing because the book has funny scenes, like this one: when the scorpions ran on the table.

I laughed with this book, so I passed a good time reading it.
