Rescatando al Soldado Pérez

Pitch Line:

A drug has the task to save his brother and bring him back alive to his country to receive the forgiveness of his mother.

Mithic Journey:

1. Julian Perez is a powerful drug trafficker who is sent by her mother to the Middle East to rescue his brother.

2. He, along with a rescue team to face the ordeals that await them in the Middle East.

3. Finally, they manage to rescue his brother, Julian Perez get the forgiveness he yearned for his mother.

Mise on scene:

• Costumes: mexican clothes, with boots, shirts open, ranch-style hats. And clothes of Afghanistan, large burqa.

• Make up: simple, is used to reflect more the characters wounds.

• Lighting: enough to make the image clear and not shadows.

• Space & Time: Mexico and Afghanistan 2007

• Color: light colors on the day and dark at night and in the battles. The colors stand out while the characters are in Mexico.

Cinematography:

• Tonalities: clear serious in Mexico and the Middle East.

• Perspective: Focus on the camera the actions or the Important Things.

• Focus: In this scene it is important to Reflect the main character's actions.

• Lens: wide angle and normal.

• Mobile Frame: panning, medium shots, dolly's.

The Other Family

Pitch Line:

A gay couple must face the society to adopt a child and make a better life.

Mithic Journey:

1. Chema and Jean Paul are married. A few days later a friend called him to ask Jean to take care of Hendrix, a 7 year old boy because his mother is in rehab for drug addiction.

2. Given the problems that cause them to have a child in the home, the couple falls in love with him. However, her mother runs away and gets it back.

3. In the end the mother dies and Chema and Jean Paul can legally adopt Hendrix.

Mise on scene:

• Costumes: Used era clothing, dresses, jeans, shirts.

• Make up: it is strong on characters such as women and to reflect expressions.

• Lighting: strong

• Space & Time: Ciudad de Mexico 2011

• Color: clear color space as the home of gay marriage or the friend, in contrast to the drug addict mother's house where the colors are sober and light is scarce.

Cinematography:

• Tonalities: they are light and dark in contrast to the good and evil.

• Perspective: actions, feelings, expressions of the characters are important.
