Zayn Malik

Okay so I want to star off by saying that I never intended for this to be so long, it just kind of happened. A few months ago I received a question that said “I don’t really see what the big deal about Zayn is, why do you even like him?” I was going to answer with some sarcastic comment but then I thought why not actually explain to that anon why Zayn is such a “big” deal.

To make it slightly more understandable every paragraph is focused on a specific quality of this gorgeous human being. I also added a few quotes that I thought were relevant. So without further ado, sit back, relax, get comfortable and let’s jump right into it.

“Zayn is actually a very thoughtful person. You guys don’t know the true Zayn, I think. You guys have got a lot to learn about Zayn. He’s very quiet, but when you get to know him he’s mental. The person that Zayn is in the video diaries is the way that Zayn is every single day. Then, at the best of times, if you’ve got something you need to ask him, he’ll just help you out with it.”

Let’s start with his outlook on life; as Liam said in the quote above Zayn’s a very thoughtful person like yeah he’s young but he’s actually really mature. He tries to learn from every situation he goes through because he knows people look up to him therefore he wants to be a good role model, he wants to help others not make his mistakes. So he makes those cheesy tweets with inspirational quotes in them and I know everyone makes fun of him (including myself) but the truth is I love them nonetheless because I try to do the same thing, I try to live by those kind of mottos. I want to help inspire people and I mean he’s a living inspiration. He went after his dreams and succeeded and a lot of people can’t say that.

“Growing up, my family didn’t have a lot of money, to be honest. We’ve never had our own house, it’s been rented, so I’ve always wanted to buy my mum a house.”

Another thing I love about him is his love for his family; now I know all of the boys love their families but I just think Zayn shows it more. He cares about them so much, he’s so overprotective of them, and you can tell he tries really hard not to put them in a situation where they can be hurt by the media so he keeps his personal life and anything that involves his family secret; that way he can be sure that the people he loves the most are safe. Remember that time he deactivated twitter? Yeah, well it was because of the hate he was getting but it wasn’t only directed towards him, his family was being affected too.

“I think my reserved personality is sometimes taken the wrong way and that’s why people just perceive me as a bad boy whereas I’m actually just a little bit shy and awkward.”
