What does it mean to be a good person?

What does it mean to be a good person?

           I think the issue of what it means to be a good person is a personal opinion,

as people have different standards of what good and bad people look like, for example:

           It is common for people to classify bad people by their actions, a very clear example would be thieves, that in my opinion people like that who spend their time doing things that are already illegal such as stealing, killing and all that, for me I already classify them as bad people. But there are some cases that people only criticize because of how they dress, since in some cases they dress in a way that people may doubt if they are a thief or things like that, but I do not criticize people who think those things because they may be right, and it is also very likely that if you see a person who does not look like a bad person, you can also be assaulted. I feel that in the street it is very difficult to trust people since you can't know the kind of people that are around you, there are times when it is good to be suspicious of people and think that some people are bad. 

             Talking about good people, I think that people categorize many people as good people, an example can be the politicians, many people can get to gild them, they think they are good people and everything, but there are cases in which politicians become corrupt, not in all cases, there are politicians who are good, who do care about the country, and want to do things right, but unfortunately here in Mexico it is very difficult that there are politicians like that.

              For me to talk about good people, is the one that does the right things, that are good people that don't get in trouble, are calm, quiet, respectful, etc. but for me to a certain extent it could even seem boring because it is very difficult for a person to be 100 percent good, because all people have their mistakes, sometimes they don't do the right things, But at the end of the day I don't believe that a person can be completely good, but if you tell me what a good person is for me, first in my opinion I would have to know him or her or simply have heard about that person, what he or she is like, what he or she does and all that, for me if he or she is respectful and is not involved in illegal things, for me that makes him or her a good person. 

          Speaking in general about good people I did some research on how they can be recognized and all that, and I found this:

   -Good people try hard and are proactive. In the words of the researchers themselves: "the road to heaven is a constant effort".

   -Likewise, those efforts must be useful. They are behaviors that revert to the well-being of others.

   -They are optimistic, cheerful, and good-humored people. In other words, they spread their positive emotions.

   -Another aspect is their impact: they leave a mark on others, a positive influence.
