1) Shaft equipment- ABB provides only the 4 magnetic switches and magnets related to the checkpoint and synchronization circuits. The other devices like for example the 2 track limits switches (sobreviaje), tail rope switch, shaft maintenance doors closed switches, shaft signals pull cords, and etc are provided by customer. Refer to page 6, 44, 45,46, 744 of the circuit diagram.

2) Fiber optic-there is a need for fiber optic cable between PA1 control desk and KA1 control cubicle. The type of fiber depends on the actual cable length required. If shorter that 45 m, plastic type may be used or if length is between 45 to 200 m use HCS type. Refer to page 60.03 for details. Customer provides the fiber optic and connectors.

3) Junction boxes- field junction boxes are supplied by customer.

4) Phone lines- It is strongly recommended to have installed the 2 phone lines (one analog one for modem connection and one regular one for voice communication) before commissioning for future phone support. Refer to page 14 for details.

5) Shaft check points and synchronization switches: The magnetic switches, Sygnatech type, provided by ABB has an arrow on it pointing out a direction. The direction of the arrow is shown page 44 and 744.

6) Shaft signals: Shaft signals pull cord switches, buzzers, supply and junction boxes are provided by customer

7) Maintenance shaft doors: Maintenance doors switches are provided by customer. Refer to page 44.
