INTRODUCTION
Robotics is one of the most exciting applications of electronics. A line follower robot is classified in the field of mobile robotics group robotics branch . The fundamental task of a mobile robot is moving in a known or unknown , therefore it must display three fundamental functions , locomotion (physical layer ) , perception ( sensory level ) and the decision ( control level) . Among the applications of mobile robots is the freight industry , robots deactivators of explosives , exploration of land unfit for man among the latter we highlight the Spirit and Opportunity robots developed by NASA. Another notable application is in a sophisticated discharge port in England , where cargo from the ships is carried on mobile robots the size of a bus, this operation being completely controlled. The structure of a robot line follower can be made of an acrylic sheet , aluminum or wood , which are readily available on the market. This provides support for the engines , the circuit board and the freewheel
OBJECTIVE
Design and modeling of a white line follower robot on a black background, with the use of logic gates and Infra red sensors using differential driving, ie a front wheel drive crazy and two in the back.
The robot uses three sensors with the objective that its progress is more stable and is looking for the lines (go nodding).
APPROACH
This Project was conducted in order to improve and gain more skill with programming concepts and also learned more thoroughly understand the importance of the subject and see what we can do many things alone with a good grounding in the subject related to the microcontrollers.
Design and build a circuit and a mechanical structure capable of performing, by means of a pair of sensors, tracking a white line with a black or a black line on white background.
