Today, Information Technology and Communications are present in any field. It is important to adapt to them in order to have efficient and effective internal and external processes that are capable of responding to the client optimal. Also to save costs and time, which are certainly factors that affect the productivity of any company. According to the advances of technology and in the context of the multiple services that the companies offered not only locally, also externally, it is essential that innovation in business strategy and the change of business processes will be accompanied by new technologies that are able to integrate and link multiple processes in order to offer mobility, applications, efficiency and effectiveness of employees and customers.
This makes perfect sense with the concept of Business Process Management BPM which says that in the process it is important to have different variables as control, infrastructure, defined procedures, business rules, etc. With this, another concept that sticks is the integration. This concept has to be a key to merge the different types of processes, for example, humans, system document and decision. With a more solid integration in the company, it will be possible make adjustments to the organization chart that does not has to be vertical only, must be horizontal to offer and connect services, employees and customers. Certainly in the moment that a company use the technology, the interoperability is possible in order to generate two or more systems or components to exchange information and to use the information exchanged. With this we can add the concept of value chain as one of its purposes is to identify primary and secondary activities to make a proper use of new technologies and to add them in the appropriate activities and with technology capable of achieving interoperability.
The Third Generation Technology 3G is a tool that allows to the government and private sector companies to integrate different types of products or services with multimedia applications at high speeds, through the use of email, internet, social networks and mobile applications. This way companies can increase productivity. According to the investigations mentioned in the article "3G Technology in Local Government: Case Examples of Business Process Strategic Change and Innovation", the results for integrating technology, strategy and business processes has been worked mainly in government, allowing the services are available anywhere with all the necessary information. Finally, another tool to identify where the business can improve and take advantage of technology is the mapping of processes to establish inputs, outputs, documents and people involved it.
