1- Definition of businessperson:

Generally the term “businessperson” is used to avoid sexism, and because it is easier than use dual terms “businessman and businesswoman”.

The simplest definition of a businessperson is that is a person employed by an organization or company.

In academic terms is someone involved in a business combined of human, physical and financial resources to generate revenue, while doing commercial or industrial activities. One example of a businessperson is an entrepreneur.

Normally the term businessperson is related to white collar jobs that are clerical or mental, such as office jobs, because of the non-requirement of a big body effort (like the blue collar jobs that refers to physical labors).

The main differences between employment and businessperson is that employment works under another person when a businessperson works under business.

What does a businessperson do?

A businessperson works on several fields such as investment, finance, education, and so far. A businessperson must be responsible and high experienced. The main job of the businessperson is to manage the firm or organization in which he or she is working, by assuring that everything is going right, achieving the efficiency and effectiveness in all the departments. This point is accomplished by oversee the employees, planning, and organizing.

The Advantages and Disadvantages of Being a Businessperson:

There are many reasons and advantages that can make a person choose to be a businessperson, this reason are such as:

• Security: owning the business without worrying to being fired, in other words, the job security.

• Flexibility in job schedule: another reason is that this job is flexible with the hours and days in which the person can assist to job or not, and the holidays.

• Control over decisions: a third reason is that a businessperson do not have to worry about the job restrictions while deciding whatever, also in terms of innovation and creativeness a businessperson has the complete control over the decisions.

• Full compensation: the fourth reason could be making money, because this job is not related to any fixed salary, so the worker, in this case, the businessperson will never feel that he or she is uncompensated for the work done, because the businessperson gets all the benefits of his or her efforts.

• Country Workplace: Being a successful businessperson can help the country to be more stable and developed economically.
