I believe athletes are positive role models for young people, many athletes understand their role as a higher figure and take a responsibility to serving their individual communities. The reason people may think they are bad role models is that the media only talks about what athletes do wrong. In the past any person who was an athlethe or famous player it was considerate a huge example of excellence, but now a days exist a balance between both sides about this polemic, and the same amount of people now think that athletes are just a disguise of what they really are. By reason there have been a huge different oppinions about what is a role model. Every person will choose their role model depending of his current activities, behaviours and points of view.

Until recently every athletes by the majority of the young population for each generation have been known as an example of constancy and excellence. The media and television used to show the best  part of each person, and make them look as an example of healthy and costums, for lead the public to follow this tendence.

On other hand, over the years with the changing of trends and generations of relief, athletes are looked by the public as a fake facade of what they really are in their daily life. For instance it has been heard about athletes who use drugs to could made up all the tasks that they are required to accomplish, also for the pression that everybody lay on them.

In my personal point of view, I think that being a professional athlete it’s a hard goal to get always with a perfect path whithout none mistakes. Now a days exist so many excellent role models as fitness people, and people who follow them turns to be better about their health, food habits, sport custums and they receive as a follower very good advices and tips for everybody gets their aim.

To conclude, It will exist so many changes about this subject, every day people change of mind and meditate their thoughts this is a topic based on points of view and in what beneficts each one. Therefore, I personally see this controversy as any proffesional has a hard track to get full of excellence. Nobody is perfect and role models are based on real people who have real situations as everyone and that is what makes them  specials, they just dont assume that they will be at every moment perfect and brilliant, but they try to be the most outstanding and make  feel proud their fans.
