FOUR THINGS YOU DID NOT KNOW YOU COULD EAT

As we talked about customs and festivities I came up with a topic about weird thing people eat around the world and we didn’t know.

Throughout its history, the gastronomy has reinvented itself and adding cooking techniques and extravagant ingredients. But still there are thing that some people eat, but they are not in any supermarket at least the ones we know about it.

The first thing I found about it is:

1. Dirt

People in the Indonesian village of Tuban like to eat “Ampo” a snack literally made from dirt:

Although there is no medical evidence, villagers believe the soil snacks are an effective pain-killer and pregnant women are encouraged to eat them as it is believed to refine the skin of the unborn baby.

To prepare this strange snack, you have to scrap the ground with a stick of bamboo. The rolls of soil are brought to the oven for an hour and sold in the market as hot bread.

The next one is no so weird but it also interesting:

2. Rice Paper

Rice paper usually refers to paper made from parts of the rice plant. It is used for doing origami, calligraphy, paper screens and clothing.

It is very common the use of the rice paper in Asian cuisine; many Chinese restaurants have begun to serve dishes made with other types of edible paper.

The third one is a more exclusive thing to eat:

3. Gold

A small-scale industry behind ingots and coins: the business of edible gold. Increasingly, the chefs who decide to use the more expensive metal as an ingredient. Although those who tested them claim that it has a neutral flavor, they claim that "eaten by the eyes".

The most frequent use of gold in edible form today its use by chocolatiers. Top quality chocolate makers often produce chocolates flecked with gold leaf. Although they are expensive

4. Pearls

A London deli sells a lollipop made with sugar, Madagascar vanilla essence and natural pearls! The store says it has aphrodisiac properties: since ancient times in China and Japan used these small gems in rituals of maternity to achieve a pregnancy.

I might eat a few of them , I really prefer to these of eaten insects or weird part of animals.

You should try new thing in our life so a recommend you that
