Definitions of Humility:
1. Humility is having a humble heart, to show an outpouring of love for all living being, to be able to assist, in any way I can, selfless service to all, without any selfish gain.
2. Humility is the absence of pride, is having a proper estimation of oneself.
3. Humility. ‘‘Perpetual quietness of heart’’. It is to have no trouble. It is never to be fretted or vexed, irritable or sore; To wonder at nothing that is done to me, to feel nothing is done against me.
4. Is to know your limitations and weaknesses and act upon such knowledge.
Examples of humility in everyday life:
1. Imagine you’re a big entrepreneur, you’ve got a lot of workers and you’re their boss. But you treat them and let THEM treat you like equals. That’s an example of humility.
2. It also could be, when your father tells YOU and your siblings that he can give you whatever you want, but you ask for a simple thing, that’s humility.
3. Old people are mostly humbles, cause they have lived a bunch of years, which makes them wise. That’s why they’re nice and simple.
4. It is also when you apologize or admit a mistake with honesty, without acting like a proud person.
Examples of humility in the classroom:
1. A humble person will help the other classmates with their studies and homeworks without expecting anything in return.
2. A humble person never brags or presumes his qualities or abilities at his classmates.
3. A humble person would help the teacher to write or erase the blackboard.
4. A humble person would help picking the garbage on the floor without caring what people thinks.
