The Lunch Scene:
1. What did each character bring for lunch?
2. Do you think the lunch that each character packed was in accordance with a particular social or socio-economic group? How? Why?
3. Does the lunch each student packed define him or her? Can we make a fair judgment of each student just by looking at the meal he/ she packed? Or do you think that food (like clothing) is only one indicator of a person’s character?
1)
The brain: He brings for luch a sack lunch. He himself describes his lunch as a "pretty standar" lunch, just as his home life is thought to be. It includes each food group, like soup, milk, including others, and supposed for him is a perfect and healthy lunch.
The princess: She brings Sushi for her lunch.
The Criminal: He has no lunch lunch.
The basket case has a very strange lunch. She puts both: breakfast cereal and sugar on a sándwich.
The athelete, has a abundance of food. He has multiple sándwiches and pieces of fruit, and contains a full size bag of chips.

Yes, of course, I think the lunch of each one helps to put on display the family life, culture and status of each. Food can speak a lot of us, for me, is like a kind of stereotype; nevertheless we have to take care with our food because can show our social or economic class.

No, the lunch can't define them. We can't do a fair judgment just for a type of food. I think, food like clothing is only one indicator of a person's character, and that behavior is due to the families of each one teenager.

4. Each character has a particular stereotype. Do these stereotypes exist at your school as well? Are there different social groups? How can you tell who fits into what group? Is it by the clothes they wear, or the lunch table they sit at?
5. What did you make of each of the characters? Were they realistic?
6. Which character do you think is the most trouble? Each character feels under pressure in some way - what is worrying them?
7. The group talks a lot about sex and losing their virginity. Why do you think some of them find it embarrassing to be a virgin and lie about it? Do you think there’s pressure on teenagers to lose their virginity?
8. They all sneak off to smoke marijuana at one point. How does the film portray this behavior? How does your group friends view marijuana? How is marijuana seen in your community/city/country.
