HISTORY OF MAKEUP
The origin of makeup it is due to the etymological sense "Maquillage" ( face painting of the theater actors in the XIX century in France).
The origin of makeup goes back to many centuries ago. Over the years we've discovered different concepts about the color of cosmetics, whose forms and meaning have been changing as a function of civilizations, time and place.
the first sings that we have about the sing of makeup we found them in the paintings that our ancestors takks from nature and they used for transmitted their moods or their social role. The makeup since its inception it has served as an instrumental of non-verbal communication.
PREHISTORY
In the prehistory times they already knew and used makeup although they do not know very well what was their purpose: if they used for enhance beauty, to celebrate a funeral act or to initiate a ritual. According to the interpretation of the cave paintings, the paleolithic women already colored different parts of the body with reddish brown.
EGIPTO
For the Egyptians, the beauty canon consisted of wearing a tanned skin, big eyes and delineated in the shape of fish in dark color, colored lips in terracota tones, careful eyebrows in your design and more typical of today's makeup like the eyelids coloring.
Egypt was the birthplace of makeup. The colors for the eyes were vivid colors that are obtained by mixing soil, ash and ink.
ROMAN EMPIRE
The ladies who lived in Ancient Rome had an agenda full of social reinvents who liked to attend impeccably. Her makeup was studied to shine during the acts of society. The Roman canon portrays a woman with very white skin and flushed cheeks. In other places, a white skin it was a synonym of nobility because it distinguished those women who worked in the field from those who did not. Eyes and eyebrows were profiled with dark substances for example the shoot. For the eyeshadows were used natural pigments from the minerals in the area.
