A prestigious law firm is currently seeking a Jr. Legal Secretary for their San Diego office. The firm offers a gorgeous work environment, an abundant opportunity for personal growth and a variety of responsibilities.
Primary Responsibilities
- Supporting attorneys and staff w/legal administrative duties
- Transcribing legal documents
- Special projects as assigned
Working hours: 8:00am-5:00pm
Credentials
--**College Degree Required**
--Minimum 1 year legal experience
--Strong communication and interpersonal skills
--Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
--Positive attitude and desire to learn
--Good attendance is also important
Monday - Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm

This position supports an incredibly active and hands-on CEO who is committed to overseeing this firm’s marketing initiatives and guiding this firm’s continued growth and development. We are looking for a highly intuitive, forward-thinking assistant to act as this CEO’s right arm and organize the details associated with his many professional obligations.
In this position, you will be responsible for:
• Managing the CEO’s extensive and ever-changing calendar; ensuring that this executive is prepared for all appointments, meetings and events
• Coordinating domestic and international travel, including booking accommodations and arranging point-to-point transportation
• Preparing meeting materials, including spreadsheets, presentations and reports
• Publishes the corporate newsletter by gathering information; preparing and editing articles; producing and distributing.
• Helps key executives make consistent decisions by advising them of historical precedents; serving as liaison between them and the president.
• Completes projects and special assignments by establishing objectives; determining priorities; managing time; gaining cooperation of others; monitoring progress; problem-solving; making adjustments to plans.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
• Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; implementing changes.
