Introduction:
Is Michael Jordan the best basketball player in the history of the NBA? Yes he is and I am going to show you why telling you his personal achievements, team achievements and his records.
Body:
1. Personal achievements:
a) Selected as a Rookie of the year in 1985.
b) Selected for the ideal team of rookies in 1985.
c) Five times MVP of the league.
d) Selected ten times for the ideal NBA team.
e) Selected one time for the second team of the league.
f) Six times voted as the MVP of the Finals.
g) One time voted as the defense player of the year.
h) Selected nine times for the defense team of the league.
i) Two times voted as the IBM of the NBA.
j) Ten times best scorer of the league.
k) Selected 14 times for the all-star game.
2. Team achievements:
a) He won the NBA Championship in 1991 Season
b) He won the NBA Championship in 1992 Season
c) He won the NBA Championship in 1993 Season
d) He won the NBA Championship in 1996 Season
e) He won the NBA Championship in 1997 Season
f) He won the NBA Championship in 1998 Season
g) He won the GOLD medal representing the United States at the Olympic Games in Los Angeles 1984
h) He won the GOLD Medal representing United States in the 1992 Barcelona Olympics
3. Records in the NBA:
a) He is ten times scoring leader, and is the only one that could do that.
b) MJ is the player who has the best scoring average in a career in the history with 30.1 ppg.
c) And also who has the best scoring average in a career in the history of the playoffs with 33.4 ppg.
d) He has the best scoring average in the Finals history with 40.1 ppg.
e) He has more NBA Finals MVP than any other player with 6 in his 6 Finals that he played.
Much people thinks that other player are the greatest in the history of the NBA because other ones has more records and more championships like Bill Russell who has 8 championship rings in his hands or Wilt Chamberlain who has almost all the records in the NBA.
But the answer is easy, Michael Jordan retired when he won his first three-peat, when he totally dominates the league and went to played baseball for two years then he decided return to the NBA and won other three-peat.
We don’t know but possibly if he had stayed the Bulls could won 8 consequently championships and probably got a record impossible to beat.
Michael Jordan was the player that everybody trust the player everybody loves even if he was in the opposing team, is the player with more game winner shots tried and the player who has the best average of scoring that shots
