Work during the class session.
4. Read carefully the lyrics of the song and record your observations in your notebook.
5. In class and with help of your teachers discuss the doubts you have about it and answer the following questions.
a) What is the song talking about? What regards each one of the verses of the songs?
R = they do not try to pretend.
b) Have you ever wear masques to be accepted by others?
R = Sometimes.
c) In the second stanza, the part that says: “For those who saw me I seemed normal in these carnival parades”, what do you think the author mean?
R = The person you saw was maybe like him, and also hiding his true self behind a mask and it seemed normal to him as all that common and not knowing what they really wanted to do with his life.
d) Why do you think that sometimes we try to impress?
R = yo creo que es porque buscamos más que nada la atención de cierta o de varias personas.
e) Why do you think sometimes we hide our qualities or virtues?
R = simply by being afraid of not being accepted by others.
f) What do you think the songs refers when he says in the third stanza: “I invited to dance to the lady moon mask that she used to be thought, that that was her face, but when I saw her face I found nothing behind”?
R = He tried to socialize with someone who also wore a mask but could not find anything because she hid who was also actually behind his mask.
g) Do you take the decision to be and take off the masks you’ve used as a habit?
R = If I have done.
h) Will there be a false happiness? What do you think that the authors refer when he says: “when they cheat on their happiness it only shows imitations of humanity; what could have been and they are not between vainglory and compassion”?
R = There is no such, there is only happiness and unhappiness think that none of the two can pretend. They think to be like others, believe that they are happy but only as copies are no joke, they do not try to be what they can be and they are satisfied to be like everyone else.
i) What values did you identify from this handwriting analysis?
• Accept yourself
• Respect yourself
• Sincerity
• Honesty
• Overcoming

• I went through the poses, comedians,
between skilled and novice
acting in the face of the dreamer
and that was just what I face.
• From that day forward
I take off the mask daily,
did the custom
a makeup so stubborn.
As the song unmasked
I show it to him,
who may not like what
look when he sees me,
...
