Dr. Maxine Cassidy:

The most interesting character for me is Dr. Maxine Cassidy, she´s a hard working and sensitive doctor that thinks poor people have the same rights as the rich. She likes justice and that´s why she´s in love with detective Grabowski. At this moment in the story she´s a little jealous because Helen has invited Grabowski to have dinner in her home and she´s a beautiful and manipulative woman. (Begoña)

Detective Grabowski:

I've been reading 'Murder by Art'. I've decided to describe detective Grabowski. The writer doesn't describe his physical look. I think detectivew Grabowski is a police officer and Maxine's friend. He likes Maxine. He is Wyoming's friend, they grew up together in Milwaukee. He didn't mind giving blood for Wyoming. It makes me think he is kind and generous. He's a nice and hardworking person. Grabowski's intelligent and he tries to find out who's Soren's murderer. I like Grabowski. In the end, he said a nice sentence: 'Love makes the world go round.' (Rosa)

Dr. Leo Hochstedder:

Helen Mueller:

I think that Helen Mueller is very suspicious because she doesn't like the behaviour of Soren Berendford.

She can lose a lot if Soren takes out his works from her Art Space.

She needs money because she isn't rich and she has to pay a lot of bills.

When she knows Soren's intentions, she tries to stop him.

If Soren dies, she will win money with his work. She will be able to sell it.

In addition, she wants Grabowski trusts in her and then he will think she isn't culprit. (Yolanda)

I want to write about Helen Mueller, the business manager and co-owner of the Art Space. In these chapter (9 to 12) she's a leading role because she establishes a new relationship with Grabowski, so the story takes a different line of argument. Although there aren't any trails, you could think that Helen would deceive him. Also she could confuse people when she invites Grabowski to have lunch and after to have dinner. Helen was previously an interesting character but in these chapters she plays the lead role. I think. (Luis)

Louie:

Lillian Hochstedder:

Lillian is Leo's wife who is a doctor. She's co-owner of the Art Space and an artist whose statues are heads that are made of clay. The eyes are glass and the teeth are shells. They look like real people.

Grabowski went to Lillian's house. There, he saw an unfinished clay head. One eye had a glass ball in it, but the other was empty. The teeth looked real.

When he drove out of the gate, he felt that Lillian was lying. (Mercedes)
