The snuff is one of the worst vices and one of the leading causes of cancer and other respiratory diseases . Venezuela 's government adopted various policies aimed at curbing anti-tobacco consumption in public places.
When braking snuff consumption in public places such as cafes, clubs and concert halls and shows, many smokers called ' social smokers ' have left their habit. Those who just lit a cigarette as part of a social ritual , when they went out for a beer with friends, have left the snuff unable to consume on these occasions. On the other hand many young people began to enter this service by visiting entertainment venues , where it was normal to see many people smoking , now no longer have that bad example they could encourage the consumption of cigarettes.
Likewise, the government implemented much higher taxes tobacco companies in Venezuela , in order to increase the final price of cigarettes , so that in this way are less accessible to consumers. Statistics are expected to point to the number of smokers falls each year and that this decline can be noticed especially in the reduction of diseases caused by snuff .
The anti-smoking law , with awareness campaigns Ministry of Popular Power for Health of Venezuela , and have been very positive for young people not to start smoking and those who did and stop this unhealthy habit .
