VILLA LA ANGOSTURA

Downtown In the west of the Argentine republic, over the cordillera de los Andes, we were trekking on the mountains and contemplate the natural beauty and the amazing views. I had the pleasure of visiting villa la Angostura, a charming village nestled in the argentine Andes. To arrive to this village fists I had to take a flight to the nearest airport that is in San Carlos de Bariloche. After that we rent a car and drive 1 hour and a half to villa la angostura, during the trip in the car we could saw all the incredible snow-capped mountains loomed in the distance, while crystal clear lakes sparkled in the sunlight of the Patagonia.

One of the highlights of my trip was a hike up to the top of a nearby peak. The climb was challenging, but the stunning views from the summit were more than worth it. I could see for miles in every direction, taking in the vast expanse of the Andean wilderness. I remember that in the top were a small lake with fresh and clear water, some people including me take out a bottle from their bags and feel the bottle with from the lake, really was the best water I had ever drink in my life. Then was time to go back down, at that moment I was so tired that only I wanted to fell and roll down the mountain.

Another memorable experience was the warmth and hospitality of the local people. They were always eager to share their culture and way of life with me and my family, and I came away with a deep appreciation for their traditions. The town was full of restaurant delicious food, here I ate the best meals I had ever try, from locally sourced meats to fresh trout caught from the nearby lake. Also the town is known for its artisanal chocolate, and I indulged in some of the best chocolate I had ever tasted in my whole life. Overall, my trip to Villa la Angostura was an incredible experience and all their natural beauty of the pentatonic region, I highly recommend adding Villa La Angostura to your trip list.
