ARABIC CULTURE

First of all, to know a culture you have to obtain prior information from it and accept that you have different positions that we must respect:

The Arab culture is native to Arabia, on the peninsula between the Red Sea and the Persian Gulf. Arabs must be recognized for some inventions such as gunpowder, paper or compass. And they could be admired by some sciences such as geography, astronomy or medicine.

In Arab culture, the standard Arabic language must be mastered. However, it can't be talk on the street or in public places because it might only be used by the media, in educational centers or in administrative documents.

The language may have a large amount of vocabulary because the words could have multiple meanings.

The Arabs are very educated people, as they greet both the people they know, and the strangers. Otherwise, that indifference is considered a complete grievance. It is very common that this kind of courtesy must be done when entering or leaving a room.

In Arab culture, shoes must be considered an impure object. Touching this garment to another person could be an insult or contempt towards her. It can't be good to point the sole to someone who is in front because this gesture may also be very offensive. If this happens when you are sitting, what you must do is cross your legs.

The Arabs never serve and touch food with the left hand, this is considered impolite. Nor is it well seen that the guests take the food that is farthest from their seat, but the closest one. Thus all diners may be on equal terms.

CULTURA ÁRABE

En primer lugar, para conocer una cultura hay que obtener información previa de la misma y aceptar que tienen diversas posiciones que debemos respetar:

La cultura árabe es originaria de Arabia, en la península situada entre el Mar Rojo y el Golfo Pérsico. Pueden ser reconocidos a los árabes algunos inventos como la pólvora, el papel o la brújula. Y tal vez algunas ciencias como la geografía, la astronomía o la medicina.

En la cultura árabe puede ser dominado el idioma árabe estándar. Sin embargo, no sería hablado en la calle ni en lugares públicos porque solamente puede ser utilizado por los medios de comunicación, en centros de enseñanza o en documentos administrativos.

La lengua puede tener una gran cantidad de vocabulario debido a que las palabras pueden tener múltiples significados.

Los árabes son personas muy educadas, pues saludan tanto a las personas que conocen, como a los extraños. De otro modo, esa indiferencia es considerada un completo agravio. Es muy común que este tipo de cortesía se realice también al entrar o salir de una habitación.
