Business consists of an activity, a system, and a way to make money in exchange for providing goods or services to others. But the reality is, that not all countries establish businesses in the same manner. Each country has its own regulations or processes to establish business the goes for foreign countries, because these do not work the same manner as our region. China is a country that is located in eastern Asia and is one of the countries that is always at the forefront.
China, with its tremendous economic impact worldwide has become the world center for its growing export business at all levels and in all fields. China is the second largest economy in the world. Its estimated GDP (in purchasing power parity) at $ 6 billion, making a per capita of $ 4,500, for a population of 1.300 million people. The population below the poverty line does not reach 10%. Chinese exports have been growing steadily and in 2003 exceeded 440 billion dollars, accounting for 6% of the world total. Imports have also increased reaching 415 billion in 2003. Half of this large volume of trade is channeled into the Asia-Pacific countries, notably Japan, Hong Kong, Korea and Taiwan. The exchange with the United States, the destination of a quarter of its exports, is highly favorable to China.
In order to establish business in China, we should learn more about their culture, between the data we need to know are:
