THE EFFECTS OF COMPUTERS ON OUR EVERYDAY LIVES
Computers have changed the way that the world works in many different ways. Some of these changes are positive and some of these changes have had negative effects on our lives. From an industrial standpoint most of these changes have been helpful to businesses and the economy. In the medical field computers have had an impact in many different areas, ranging from the way appointments are made to the carrying out of everyday tasks.
The biggest and easiest seen change that computers have had on today’s society can be seen in the workplace. Before computers became an office tool and were made available to the average employee, paperwork and sharing information in an office setting was done by many different individuals constantly filing and looking up figures. Now a computer can store large amounts of information that is readily available to virtually anyone with the click of a mouse button. One person can complete a job that in a time before computers would take many. Computers have made file cabinets and libraries almost obsolete.
One of the most dangerous things is pornography. There are many websites that offer access to free shocking porn. Another important problemis homosexuality and sexual molesting of children.
Don't forget about hackers - a group of people who know computer technology very well. They're good programmers (personally I think they're the best), they can solve almost every computer problem. A real hacker forces computer networks, breaks their security just to show and improve his knowledge. But there are many people who call theirselves "hackers". In fact they break in to computers to get important information or to damage operationg system.
Summarising these reflections, life wouldn't be as easy as it is now without the Internet. It became very important. It gives job for many people who work in big computer corporations and makes easier searching inforamtion. I'm a great believer in the Internet.
